Sono state a poco annunciate le nominations agli Oscar 2017 che si terranno la notte del 26 febbraio presentati da Jimmy Kimmel.
Non ci sono state molte sorprese con La la land che domina incontrastato con ben 14 nominations ma diverse esclusioni illustri dalle categorie principali come Silence e Nocturnal Animals non presenti nelle categorie miglior film e miglior regia e Amy Adams snobbata nella categoria Miglior attrice protagonista.
